It's not about making money but it is about selling books. Being a best-seller. Big sigh. I can dream.
So this morning, I was planning my sequel to novel 3, and just below the blurb on the back it says, 'the follow-up to the best-selling (whatever I eventually decide to call it)'. How cool would that be?
So, in the meantime, here are a couple of miscellaneous photos:

Hi Liz,
Have you tried Goodreads.com as a way of promoting your novel? It's like a social network for readers and a really easy way to drum up interest. For to-be-published books and those up to 6 months old, you can run a giveaway for free. Most gain several hundred entries, as well as lots of people adding your book to their 'to read' list - which, of course, others will see, and again when they read and finish it. Reviews can be left too.
Hope this helps.
Thanks, anonymous. I'd seen Goodreads but had no idea I could add my novel to it. That's really helpful.
The dream is good. However the problem is today it is all too often they only pick the same old same old so new people need a miracle to get in
I loved your first novel ,, and if I could add it too goodreads, I would .. I can hardly write a blog, let alone a book :-)
Hi Liz , see link on Facebook comment I left you x
One tactic employed by lots of new authors is to split longer novels into smaller parts. This means you can release Part 1 (still priced at $2.99 or so) to see how it is received. If well, you've got lots of people hooked for Part / Episode 2. If not, you haven't invested tons of time before finding out how it will be received.
I will be waiting for this novel; I enjoyed the last one so much, which I thought was first one. Have I missed one? I thought you had removed Captcha ( the squiggly hard to read stuff before we post.
This is true, furtheron.
Thanks for that, anne. I'll have to see about getting a photo up, maybe later today if I have time.
Interesting idea, anonymous.
I brought captcha back, nitwit, because lots of spammers ere getting through.
All the best with the book, Liz. I'm sorry I didn't get over to wish you a happy Easter but I am going through a very difficult time at the moment.xx
