Best not to over think most lyrics Liz!
Lyrics often misconstrued... but in this case it was massive irony, it was about the appalling treatment Roger Waters suffered when at school - however many would say it was never a problem for them etc. and he did end up a multimillionaire so...
Personally - apart from Comfortably Numb (a song any addict will relate to) I never rated the Wall - Animals was their best I always thought
Lyrics now changed to 'We don't need no beach bike hut' ;-)
