The thoughts of me and my dog who used to be Harvey, but is now George, who is Harvey's great-great-great-great-nephew.
Looks like my old record collection. I love this take on the theme. Happy weekend.
Ah yes, that's from my vintage, too, Liz. Good old records.
Mine are all long gone now. I love CDs, so much easier and have even bought some of my old vinyl records on CD. Good choice for the theme. Have a good weekend Liz.
Those take me back all right. In fact I can remember exactly where I first heard all the early Beatles records, they were so mind-blowing. And in those days, you expected rock bands to be done and dusted by their twenties. The idea of Paul still happily gigging in his sixties was inconceivable.
Your picture brings back memories. We gave all plastic discs away when we got rid of our old disc-player.
Um, what are those? NO, just kidding! :-) Definitely my era and speed, too! Thanks for visiting!
All ours went to assist with our move to the island. No electricity - but I did copy a great deal on to cassette. A good choice.
I once had a collection of these, but have exchanged it for CD/DVDs played on my computers. I've seen the era from 78s to 33-1/3sMy post:http://cowardscorner-nitwit1.blogspot.
Oh...the old records! My parents have their collection...
Oh, yeah, vinyl's plastic, isn't it? Amazing as I tend to think of plastic as being generally not very breakable but records can seem so easily scratchable, etc.!
Oh yes the memories, great choice! I still have quite a collection, including Elvis's first album, just hate to part with them.
We still have those vinyl long laying records :D
Oh...great idea!Happy weekend!Blessings~*~
What do you do with those round things. Are they like frisbees?

Youth memories ! and a lot !! and they are still in fashion !
Perfect! I kinda miss the old LP days. Listening to music and reading the album covers Great take on this week's theme.
Such a lovely idea for the theme :-)
oh yeah we all loved the Beatles... Great take on the theme!
Those disc are considered rare nowadays.
These records brings back memories long before CDs came into our life :)
The records themselves were a bit of a pain of course, what with having to wipe the dust off and the music repeating itself when the needle got stuck. Thank God for CDs.
I LOVE the Beatles! Did I ever tell you I saw George Harrison once?? Back in 1965 when they were here in Portland, OR.
PERFECT! I love what you came up with. So clever. Great photo.I can't believe that some one else besides me still has some records!I played too! I'm just running behind in visiting others. Come on over. Have a wonderful weekend!
Great choice Liz. I am not a big Beatles fan but I do love my old vinyl!
Ah, the good old days. I still have some of my old albums, but I think they may have gotten a little warped over the years:)
