What happens when you use a colander to sieve your flour

You get muffins that lean.

I never sieve the flour. (Here we sift and I don't do that either.)

I agree with Hullaballoo. I think your cooker (or your oven) is on a tilt.

And I was always told that they do that if you open the oven door or was that when the cake sinks in the middle :-/
