I just spent £155 in a bookshop.

Guess what everyone's having for Christmas this year?

I'd planned to go to the dentist and then call into a couple of shops on my way home. Then I realised that the dentist was in the other direction so what started out as a quick trip ended up as a three and a half hour jaunt. Admittedly most of that time was spent in Borders.

I feel rather like a frenetic monkey.

I love Borders, I can spend ages in there!

Well, gee, I honestly NEVER am disappointed receiving a book for Christmas. In fact, Christmas isn't Christmas without getting at least ONE book! :)

Just like Cherry Pie, I could also spend hours to say nothing of the POUNDS! in Borders.

It always used to be one of my favourite stopping off points in Boston MA on the way home from my extremely frequent US business trips during the past two years wehn the pound was particularly strong against the dollar.
I used to come back each trip with half a suitcase full of books and CDs
