Thought for the week

I get a weekly newletter from some writing site and here is this week's
Thought for the Week
:

"Put it before them briefly so they will read it,
clearly so they will appreciate it,

picturesquely so they will remember it and,
above all, accurately so they will be
guided by its light."

~ Joseph Pulitzer

I like that. I do brief well.

That's good advice!

I like that. It's the picturesquely that I have problems with. You, however, are great at that. I could totally picture you in the garden with George holding on to his tail and in the shower with the plunger. You were wearing your cerise housecoat in both pictures. I don't know what cerise is, but I'm guessing hot pink? Second guess bright blue. I'll google it. :)

Great advice--you "do" brief well, Liz, and you also do titles very well! I've been trying to catch up on blog reading and keep seeing these intriguing titles of your posts popping up on my blog roll. I have to resist the urge to check them out until I've read the week-old blogs I've been putting off!

Brief comments: sweet peas look beautiful; you were very kind to clean up vomit; plungers are a necessity; and George is endearing as always!

Good thought - for me, it's hard to be brief. Thanks for the visit to my ABC Wednesday post. Have a great week. - Margy

Ooooooh...that is lovely! Joseph Pulitzer said that, eh? No wonder he had a prize named after him, ha! I've been reading down the page...as to your loose knickers, I've lost 24 pounfd since having my hysterectomy. Things are swimming on me, too, hahahaha!
