Just look at this!

It's a Romanesca cauliflower. They say.
I think it landed during the recent asteroid storm and is even now planning its takeover of the world.
It might be small and green but it has pointy bits.

Oh, that's too pretty to eat! It would make a wonderful centrepiece on the table the next time you have people to dinner.

It looks a bit like a dog toy.

The only reason I bought it was its appearance! I was fascinated. But I will cook it tonight and tell you what it tastes like.

It does look like a dog toy! I couldn't think what it reminded me of.

Do you eat it? Paint it? Give it to a pet to chew? Frame it? Or what?

First, mutant tits. Now, pointy bits. There seems to be a trend here...

Much better focus on this picture. I've not seen or heard of these over here in the Colonies.

OOh not seen one of those before. What does it taste like?
btw 'The little mole.... ' is a still a favourite here. Babbette Cole books are equally amusing :0)

I've never seen one before - not even in a picture.

Pretty veggie.

LOL Liz, Are we in the midst of an invasion of mutant brassicas from beyond Uranus?

I just did a search on my blog for the word 'alien'. It brought up about 10 posts, many of which I had forgotten about. It suggests to me that Swansea is definitely at the epicentre of alien activity.

Or I have a peculiar imagination. that couldn't possibly be true so it must be the alien invasion.

Furtheron, I'm in the process of cooking it and will eat it soon. if my blog goes strangely quiet, please report it to the Centre for Alien Activity.

Winston, it's what you read not what I write!

4kids, I'll report soon unless ... see above.

Cassie and Welshcakes, it is so pretty, and it retains its colour when cooked.

Jams, I don't know about Uranus ...
