Olives, chocolates and tomatoes

A selection of the tomatoes Husband has grown in the greenhouse this year. From left:
olive tomato (the best in flavour and texture), chocolate tomato (doesn't taste like chocolate and not particularly exciting), gardener's delight (an old favourite) and mini plum tomato (almost as good as the olive).

I must admit the look of the chocolate tomato doesn't excite the taste buds!

They look great - I like the "early girl" variety. Do you have any of those?

I am afraid we are once again at the mercy of supermarket tomatoes this year. But if I have time I will seek out a farmers' market.

I have had those "black" tomatoes from the market and rather liked them ... they were even a Special Offer in Lidl a few weeks ago .
But I'm very envious .... imagine being able to eat all these straight out of the garden . Lucky you !
