I have a new rolling pin!
It's super long - for rolling icing to cover cakes - and doesn't have a broken handle. When I told Husband I'd ordered a new one he said, 'What's wrong with the old one?'
'You mean apart from the fact that I inherited it so have had it at least 35 years and it's been broken for as long as I can remember?'
We also have a new camera but that's less exciting because it's the same as the old one only different. And it doesn't have the scratch/blurry bit in the sunshine. Oh, yes, and it has sat nav. I mean GPS. I asked Husband if that meant we could find out where it was if we lost it but apparently it doesn't work like that.

The camera has GPS? crazy!
We got a new camera today, too. It is like the old one only different and like the current one only different.
The old one--the old little one bit the dust recently. It is the one I carried in my purse.
My current one is large, larger than my purse which is small. This one is the same brand as it so the controls will be similar.
And a good item for terrorising grandchildren too Liz!
Darn, when I saw your title I thought maybe you had a manuscript that had been accepted!
You and I have some strange things in common, Liz--I didn't know anyone else had a wooden rolling pin with one handle broken off besides me:) Maybe it's time I broke down and bought a new one, too.
I'd be excited too!
You always make me smile :-)
So you can use the new rolling pin for the icing and the old one for thumping your cheeky husband....
I would find a new camera more exciting than a rolling pin ;-)
I get excited about new cameras. The GPs feature is for identifying the exact spot on earth the picture was taken.
Some of my photos I would not care that information be known.
I hope to buy a new one in near future but that is not a feature high on my list.
The rolling pins is a very useful thing in kitchen to done many works easily. It helps in making cake to rolling the icing. Without using any physical forces it handle very comfortably.
Love the new rolling pin (you were definitely due). Congrats on the new camera. That's something that's on my ooh-want-so-bad list.
But the GPS doesn't work very well, katney. It thought I was in the shops today when i was on the sea front.
I hadn't thought of that, jams!
Go on, rose, get a new rolling pin: you won't regret it!
A cook must have the right tools, welshcakes.
I'm glad, sub.
good plan, nick.
It's just the same as our old one though, cherrypie.
Well, I'm all right, nitwit, as it's not very accurate!
Thanks, HWD.
It's nice camera, maryb, just another simple point and shoot affair but it suits my capabilities!
