Happy Thanksgiving!

To all our American friends. My first thought was that I don't know many American bloggers but then I started counting them up! Hope you all have a wonderful day.

Me, I'm thankful for my family - Husband, Daughter, Son-in-law, Elder Son, Daughter-in-law, Younger Son (and Girlfriend), Grand-daughter - and the good health we enjoy, for George, for my home and my life. I'm thankful for friends, for Linden and especially for Zac's. I'm thankful for Jesus.

And did I mention Grand-Daughter?!

You also have American readers (reader?) who have no blog.
Thank you for your blog. I enjoy it so much. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family.

You didn't mention her 'til the end but it takes a while for the reality to set in, haha! Thank you for the good wishes, Liz. One of the things in my life I'm thankful for is your bloggy friendship. (((HUG)))

Thanks, Liz. Alex & I had a grand Thanksgiving. However, my 4-pawed buddy now wants more and more turkey to eat.

Thanks Liz. Yes you have a very good list of thankfulness.

Pres. Lincoln declared an annual day of Thanksgiving in the aftermath of our darkest war, in my opinion, the Civil War, which pitted brother against brother. Its scars still remain today and many prejudices and injustice still stain our society, albeit it has improved over my 70 years of memory.

Thanks, Liz! Arizona Daughter was home this week, so I spent a lot of time with family the last few days, which is what Thanksgiving is all about, I think. Sophie was thrilled to meet her and sad to see her leave again.
Looks like the "granny" bug has definitely bit you:) Show as many photos of your new grandbaby as much as you want; grandmas are allowed to brag:) Hope Husband was feeling better this weekend so that both of you were able to visit Elin.

Thank you, genie! Good to meet you.

You too, kris.

Oh it is, Linda.

And I bet he got it too, nick!

We are fortunate, puss.

Quiet is good, joy!

I'm home now, james, so just being kept awake by my cough!

I hadn't realised that was where thanksgiving came from, nitwit. Thank you.

Family is definitely what times of celebration are about, rose.
