Looks beautiful, Liz! I'm afraid any major redecorating at my house will have to wait until Sophie is completely housebroken and stops chewing on the carpet:) And tell George I always thought he was very intelligent; I think he's part of the reason I decided on Sophie.

Oh I do like that, Liz. Well done! It looks lovely.

MUCH too tidy!

Where's the welly rack?
The dog leash rack?
The mud scraper?

...and George's muddy footprints? ;-)

Very nice too - ditto D'star.

Oh its much too tidy and you missed a bit on the right hand side doing the painting. It would look far better with dirt, welly boots, dogs hairs, stuff plonked on the stairs to be taken up and a coat hanging abandoned on the wall. Apart from being too clean and too tidy it looks fantastic!

May I come and check if it's really your hall ?

It was, Sally. Really. No, honestly it was ...

Yes, we had painted holly on the walls for 18 months, suburbia!

Sorry, dragonstar, Husband needs to finish painting the outside of the house now (started 4 years ago).

Thank you, Shoshana, Mauigirl, Sarah, jams.

Ours will soon have splatterings of George slobber to brighten it up, amanda.

You'll have a wonderful load of fun with Sophie, rose.

THank you, puss.

Stu, I cleaned the hall, went out and bought the rugs, put them down and took a photo before George was allowed in there! It won'#t stay like that for long.

THank you, aileni.

Dumping, as I said to stu, this state won't last 5 minutes. And see that thing at the bottom of the stairs? I just bought that in an attempt to stop things littering up the stairs.

Thanks, cherrypie.

Any time, gattina. you'd be very welcome.

It looks really smart in that lovely warm cranberry colour. How long before the hoover is placed across the stairs again though?!!
