Saturday Photohunt - Hanging

Hanging from the London Eye.

Late edit:
A number of people have said that they'd be too scared to go on the London Eye. Believe me, you couldn't be more scared of heights than I am but I was determined to go on. We went early in the morning - the best time to avoid queues and too many people - and it was fine. I started off by staying on the bench in the middle of the pod but later on got braver and went close to the windows. The views are fantastic and it doesn't feel like you're moving at all. And there are no sudden jerky bits to frighten you. So do give it a go if you're in London!

When you get to that point on the ride you always feel like you are hanging out there with nothing below you all the way to the ground.

WAIT - You ARE hanging out there with nothing below you all the way to the ground. But isn't it fun.

Nice hanging photo.

Great shot. I chickened out of going on that thing the last time I was in London. I had nightmare visions of getting stuck up there for hours.

I've always wanted to see the London Eye, but not hang from it, thanks...too vertiginous (what a neat word!)

Very cool! Have not been in London since the London Eye was erected. Is the queue to go on it long?

That is a great entry for photohunt! Love the composition. Thanks for commenting on my blog. Some of the statues in the Dongyue temple were indeed disturbing, but still very interesting and rather fascinating!

OHMIGOSH - I think you are very brave! :) Good for you though!

Great shot. I'd love to try that and see the views, harder now that I'm in Montana now and not Scotland...maybe next time I'm over. Thanks for stopping by, hope to see you again some time.

I would be scared to death, but I would still go. I have to try things I have never tried frightened or not. It looks really high in the picture. How high is it?
