I haven't met up with other bloggers--well, as long as you don't count those I've known before blogging--like my sons.
Ten years ago, though, as we were planning a trip to Russia to meet up with my son and his fiance and, if it hadn't had to be posponed, be part of their wedding, I met a couple on a bulletin board type forum. During our trip we traveled a full day from our itinerary to meet up with them, stay two days, and a full day to return. That is how remote their community was--the boat only went north on odd days and south on even, so we had to stay two days. It was quite an experience which I have occasionally posted a couple of pictures about.
