Haven't I grown?

I'm beginning to think seriously that George is the world's only agoraphobic dog. I had to drag him down the road today. He kept sitting down and whimpering pitifully.
Oh, but he loves people with a passion. I have to explain to him that just because a man is in his garage it doesn't mean that he wants to meet George. He looks at me unbelievingly when I say that.
I'm also trying to impress upon him that it's not polite to eat guests. It's all very well tearing me to shreds - that's part of the deal when you get a puppy - but visitors are a different matter. I'm hoping he will pick this up quickly as we have the staff lunch here tomorrow.

Possibly, Liz. Lovely photo - lovely.

What a hoot. He surely should be getting over that by now. Now people and other dogs, loving them is a great thing. Those needle teeth are horrible, the sooner they fall out the better.
He is a little cutie.

He only wants to love everybody...and then eat them! That's what puppies do...well the ones I've had, anyway.

Agoraphobic...well, that's different, but he'll eventually get over that...hopefully.

Have a wonderful Christmas...you, your family and George.

He'll grow out of it...

Now - I have decided I have the way to make my millions. A sort of NetNanny that doesn't stop porn but cute pictures of pets to stop daughters going on and on about - but look how cute he looks, he'd be no trouble if we had one, I promise to look after him (yeah right when you are at school all day and out at drama/dance/swimming many evenings)... etc.

Of course the reall problem here is that George is really cute and I might just start to waver actually.

He is soooo sweet!
My eldest son has a Labrador that is 3 - 4 years old and still insists on laying down if he sees another dog approaching. Nothing will shift him until it has passed.

THanks, James.

He is a cutie, jmb, and you'd think he would be less nervous now, wouldn't you?

Thanks, robyn, you too!

Why don't you just relent, furtheron? You know you want to really!

Harvey used to adopt the statue pose when he saw other dogs, deejay. But it's not dogs that frighten George; it's ... well, I don't know what it is. Fear of the unknown? But it doesn't stop him disappearing into the dark cupboard under the stairs.

Ah but he still looks like a little sweetie. I'm sure he will calm down soon - Oh and enjoy his walks
