Whatever two numbers religious fundamentalists add up, the result will always be 666 ;-)

Cute cartoon, I always loved Calvin & Hobbes. And I tend to agree about math!

I saw it and instantly thought of you, Dr Stu!

Mauigirl, I agree too. I was browsing through the book and there were so many 'wise' cartoons; I will have to post some more.

Man, I wish I'd been smart enough to think of this argument when I was in school. Damn! He's right - it's all on faith. And I figure if they haven't found out what "x" is after all these years, fugitabbadit!

Liz, I truly love Calvin and Hobbs! I don’t remember reading this specific strip, but Calvin is sooooo in character! Thanks! Thanks very, very much!

Apropos faith.

It's worth reading this entry in Greta Christina's blog.

Not a comment about this post, Liz, just to say I think Blogger could do with a new gadget on our sites - an 'I've read everything in your blog that I missed while I was too lazy to surf blogger, and want you to know but have nothing really exceptional to add to any of your comments sections'. Do you think they'll go with that one?
