Day sleeping

It seems that not only do I sleep through things at night, I also sleep through things at day.

Alun mentioned Geoff.
'Who?' I said.
'Geoff, in church; the man with one arm.'
'There's a man with one arm in church?!'

A girl came to our door yesterday. She was selling 'organic horse manure'.

Does she mean from horses not fed on steroids or is it a good marketing ploy?

Organic horse apples. That's a new one.

I believe you mentioned Swansea a time or two on your blog. I mentioned it to my wife. When she was a lass of 16, she was taking a Berlitz English course here in Germany. Her instructor was a lady from Whales. The teacher and two of the students took a short trip to Swansea where the teacher was from. My wife loved it, but with her poor English back then, she had a heck of a time talking and understanding the folks. She would love to go back someday.

Steve, I bet your wife's English was better than my German!

It is a very beautiful part of the world we live in. You and your wife should visit.

Ian, ah, that explains the differentiation.
