She is...I have a friend who went to India to serve. She is a retired nurse. People said "what if you die over there?" (not that it was inherently dangerous, but we do all die.) She responded, well, I guess then I will be buried over there. Her intention was to stay and serve until she did die.<br /><br />She served about six months when she was diagnosed with lung cancer. She returned home looking like a scarecrow. This has been three or four years now. Her cancer treatment has been successful, and though she is not in remission, it is under control. <br /><br />When she returned, she had nothing, as she had sold or given away everything when she left. She lives very simply on little. She is at the church daily helping the maintenance man, cleaning things that would not get attention, polishing pews, taking care of the altar linens, and praying. <br /><br />I think God tells us what to do when.
