Procrastination

This morning a thought came into my mind. It appalled my heart but my head said it might be a practical safety net as we're getting older.

"Perhaps we should have private health insurance," I said to Husband.

He pointed out that most of his conditions would not be covered and the cost would be prohibitive because of said conditions.

Which came as a relief. I can continue to wear my Nurses not Nukes t-shirt without feeling like a hypocrite. 

And now . . . drum roll . . . I'm going to open the Word document for my work in progress (new novel). I am, I really am, just as soon as I've, well, done anything I can think of to delay it.

No, I'm going to do it now!
