I've never made Rocky Road although I do have a couple of favourites that are slightly similar. So, today, as whenever I take one of my variations to Zac's people always ask if they're Rocky Road, I decided to make some.
Unfortunately I didn't read the recipe properly . It didn't sink in that I was supposed to let the melted mixture cool a little before adding the marshmallows. As a result it's not so much rocky road as sludgy lane.
And a bit more successfully. Assuming I did make it. It's on one of my plates so I'm guessing I did . . .
Sludgy lane! I imagine it tasted just fine though.

ReplyDeleteI'm not a rocky road fan, but the sludgy lane looks pretty good. Is my mind playing tricks? I thought, before reading the last of your posting, that you had previously posted about rocky road.
