A present from Ibiza
This is what Younger Son brought me this back from Ibiza. Getting ready ...And this is for Zac's tonight. Apple and sultana cake but made with raisins instead of sultanas as I didn't have any. So, I suppose, it's apple and raisin cake. It's my invention anyway so I can call it whatever I want. I think I'll call it ... Zebedee.

Whatever it is it looks delicious
What a sweet plaque.
The cake looks delish. You are a much more creative cook than I am.
Yum, I'm afraid to do any baking now that it's just the two of us at home--I'd wind up eating it all myself:)
Now, how long until Baby arrives? Looks like you're going to have a well-stocked library when he/she arrives. I found the story about the mother who would buy her son candy but not books very sad. I read to my kids, and then my grandkids, even when they were too tiny to understand what I was saying. Fostering a love of reading in a child is one of the greatest gifts you can give to them.
mmmmm....looks yummy, whatever you call it.
Thank you, Furtheron.
Not really, nitwit. I only play around with a basic recipe.
That's why it's good to cook for Zac's, rose: I have the fun of baking but give it all (okay, most of it!) away.
November 20th is the due date, rose. 23rd is the date they start fitting our kitchen! It'll be a fun time!
Thanks, leslie.
Your cake looks really good Liz....you're making me hungry. I actually haven't baked in ages. My daughter, Jen, bakes everything lately. I just reap the rewards. I love that plaque...just adorable.
Oh, I do want some of that cake!
