Inconsiderate car owners
To get to the woods we have to walk along the small cul de sac behind our house. It's a quiet road - fortunately! - as there are inevitably cars parked on the pavement, meaning we have to cross over or walk on the road to get past.
Parking on the pavement is quite normal here, since a lot of roads are narrowish and refuse lorries etc would have trouble getting down the streets otherwise. But it's annoying when they leave no space whatever for pedestrians.
Send the photos to your council parking enforemcent officer. It is illegal to park like that, if you complain they might send someone round and a few of them get fines... it might act as some kind of deterent
Looks like a lovely neighbourhood even if you do have to step onto the road to get past. Wish I could join you in your walk in the woods. :)

ReplyDeleteWell of course car owners rule!!!
ReplyDeleteThat is because they are too lazy to realise walking is an option ;-)
