Confused?

Surely a summer-blooming climbing rose shouldn't be flowering in January?

  1. I have just done a tour of our garden and find that the roses and honeysuckles are all in bud, amazing really after all the hard frost.

  2. That's a good rose photo, but it does seem very odd, that it should be blooming now.

I noticed the photo on your last post and I used to LOVE those cakes, but I can't remember what they are called. Is it Viennese something or other?

  5. I can't believe you have such a beautiful rose blooming now, Liz! We are dipping below zero here this week (I don't remember the conversion tables, so just subtract about 20 degrees from 0 C), so nothing is blooming here except icicles:)
