What a night!

'What a night!' I said to Husband after being woken this morning by George barking.
'Fighting tigers in your dream, were you?' he asked.
'Worse than that: I was on holiday with your family!'

And there was a fancy dress ball but I couldn't find a costume to fit me and mother-in-law said, 'she's just saying that because she doesn't want to go,' and it was true that I didn't want to go but I couldn't find a costume either and we were being given live worms and tiny baby turtles to eat and George was going to eat one and I said, 'no, George, don't eat that,' and then I caught the lift back up to our room but instead it took me on trip around China and I lost Rhys who was in school with Younger Son and I knew his mum would be cross if I lost him even though he was only little. So really I was quite glad that George barked.

Oh yes...and what had you ingested before going to bed???

I'm wondering, too, just what you ate before bedtime!

As usual, i seem to be behind in reading your posts, so I'll just comment on all of them here:

If you find a man with all those qualities who looks like George Clooney and Johnny Depp, let me know. Oh wait, that's right, I'm already married.

I know nothing about rugby, but I enjoy several sports, so I understand your passion. It is rather hard, though, when you don't know which team is yours, isn't it?

The birthday card was hilarious!

At least you weren't driving with your daughter-in-law and the hippy ranger, with all those folkas standing around holding folded blue paper.

Well, the snow geese had moved on so I just had to go and find other things to photograph. Stay tuned! ;)

The lift took you to China?? That would be a nightmare for me! LOL!

I have dreams like that sometimes - tiring, isn't it?

Precisely, leslie, exhausting.

I don't think so, amanda.

Ah, was that you serving live worms, mutley? I thought you looked familiar.

Nothing in particular, puss. I don't think ...

Being married doesn't stop you looking, rose!

You too, katney?

It's very tiring, jay.

Hm, I suppose so, dragonstar!
