I have a personal perception of God.....Great post.

I have a personal perception of God... well it isn't God and I do not in anyway align with any religion.

However the contact with whatever it is is difficult. When do I take responsibility for what I do rather than insisting it was the will of God? But I can't just sit here doing nothing waiting for it to speak to me.

My "power" talks to me through other people - like you and this post... and The Screwtape letters that I read when a teenager and struggling with finding something during one of my "bouts of religion".

Have you ever read The Road Less Travelled but M Scott Peck? I think you'd get a lot from it. The first sentence is "Life is difficult". At last!!! Someone who wasn't going to tell me that he had an easy fix to the struggle of life.Furtheronhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11903753972242964410noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17218624.post-27936496145316206912011-01-17T07:54:24.709+00:002011-01-17T07:54:24.709+00:00I wish I'd asked you last night, katney! It was about catechesis being teaching organically. That was the offical definition out of the book and it was translated to be "so it can be understood" Organic--organized. Yikes--same root.

So, some thoughts that are not organized:

1. God doesn't make rubbish.

2. When are we acting independently and when do we rely on God? another yikes! Though we may think we are independent, well...are we ever?

I recall being told to pray as if all depended on God and act as if all depended on yourself.Katneyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13399336885633739593noreply@blogger.com
