Round the Horne

After dropping food off at Zac's I got in the car, took off my mask, put on my seatbelt, and started the engine. Then I put on my mask and drove a short distance before thinking, 'Hang on, something's not right.'

Yes, I'd put on my mask instead of my glasses.

A programme was just beginning on the radio - an old comedy show from the 60s - and it was introduced as being for 'Those young at heart and weak of mind.' Fits me to a tee. (Tee? T? Tea?)

Haha. The other day I said to my daughter "I can't find my reading glasses". She said "You are wearing them". Geez.

I learned a few years ago to carry a spare pair of driving glasses in the door pocket of my car. I often drive off in my reading/computer glasses. You are not alone!

Hah! I could not back out of the driveway without my glasses! Heck, I think I might even have trouble finding my vehicle without them!!!

Remembering my glasses isn't a problem for me because everything is a blur without them, but I confuse all sorts of other things.

Love,
Janie
