Lent 6

Today I am grateful as I am every day for my 'happy' pill. I can safely say it changed my life.

I could write a long blog post about being medicated and what Christians should do (in the opinions of some people) but I'll just say that I am thankful for the doctor who finally prescribed it for me, for the scientists who developed it and for the health service that allows me to have it.

You do know it's addictive with severe withdrawal symptoms?
I quote :-
"In 2002 the U.S. FDA published a warning regarding "severe" discontinuation symptoms among those terminating paroxetine treatment, including paraesthesia, bad dreams, and dizziness"

But without my life is miserable. Using it also increases the risk of suicide ...

Technology today is really impressive, I say if something helps then go for it, there are so many side effects listed on most drugs that are far worse than what the drug is supposed to help you cope with, but I still say if it helps you then there is no problem. I am glad you have found one that actually helps.
