Going on retreat

So I have cleared my desk ready to begin my 'retreat'.
I am not, as Husband suggested, doing anything to avoid writing. It's just that I need some head space in which to think and spread out. So now I'm ready. And blogging. No, this is another essential. I need to set the scene.

I just need to do one more thing: update my Middle-aged, fat and frumpy blog otherwise that will be in my head wanting to be expressed and leaving no room for my Irishman.

Good luck with your 'retreat'. Especially the de-cluttering part. I'm all for de-cluttering, everywhere in life.

I visited your "MAFAF" blog. Silly you, to carry on. You look marvelous!!!! have no idea what age you are, but you are a grandmother, so you aren't 21. :-) So for your age, you look fine. True, work on your health. Exercise, FOR your health. Eat in a healthy way, FOR your health.

BUT STOP BEATING UP ON YOURSELF!!! S-T-O-P!!! Luna Crone sezzzzzzzzzzzzz!!!!! >,-)

And I also agree, drop *should* from our vocabulary! It is totally counterproductive. Brings out the little kid in all of us. "they said I should to this, so I am not gonnnnnna'!!!" ,-)

Gentle hugs, Luna Crone

My teacher, 60+ years ago (I'm 73), I quote :

"If your desk's surface is anywhere visible, you are not studying/researching/writing/revising enough!"

Thanks, Sharon!

It's clear before I start, Stu! It's gradually getting harder and harder to find anything.
