Young Montalbano, Husband and Fitbit

Yesterday evening I did 7,000 steps while watching Young Montalbano.

This morning I was telling Younger Son when Husband interrupted saying, 'It's not the same though, walking back and for in the corner of the room.'
'I know but it's better than doing nothing.'
'Yes, but it's not the same. Look up your statistics.'
'It's still 7,00 steps and better than nothing.
'Yes, but ...'

At that point I sulked out of the room.

Husband is unlikely to be alive to watch any more Young Montalbano if he keeps this up.

How can you walk back and forth whilst watching Montalbano? :-) :-)

Do you have a treadmill you can set up in front of the telly? That might help, but then husband might complain about the whirring noise and you panting! LOL

I was in a corner facing the screen, Anne.

Husband did suggest an exercise bike, Leslie, but they just take up space and, realistically, wouldn't get used that much!

Why not ? A step's a step , surely ?
Though the treadmill at the gym can be set to 'go uphill' which is quite fun ... and feels even more virtuous .

I've tried that uphill setting on a treadmill, sonata. Just once.
