I made 2 dozen this morning and tasted just 1 - was nice! Put the rest straight in the freezer out of temptation's way! lol!

Recipe for Heaven
You can get a gargantuan mince pie slice in the baker's by me. Very nice with vanilla ice cream. Or on it's own with a Benson and Hedges and a nice cup of tea...
I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE mince pie or tarts warmed up with a large dollop of creamy vanilla ice-cream. BUT...it also comes with a strong dose of heartburn!
Sounds excellent to me as I am the only on in two generations of any of my family that likes mincemeat pie. pass the plate Please

Hey I bought 6 of Morrisons Best Mince Pies earlier. They're in the fridge. The cornish dairy ice cream's in the freezer.
