Minus 6 and all's well

The temperature dropped to -6 in the night but it was a glorious morning and I stopped on my way to church to take these photos (making me late needless to say). The photos don't do justice to the beauty of the morning but they hint at it.

There is the thinnest film of ice on the edge of the sea: you can see where it finishes.
There's snow on tham thar hills.

As cold as it is your photos are very beautiful. I love to see sunlight glinting off he water. Where my husband's relatives live in North Dakota, the wind chill factor was 26 degrees below. Right now it is 28 deg. F. in Virginia. It feels good to look at my summer photos :)

Now, odd to say, it is chilly here in the Arizona desert (54º F./12º C. is chilly for here.) I know we are going to have a rude awakening when we go home next week where today it is 26ºF./-3ºC.
