Goodness! I have a Britain road atlas and I would say it's too bad you can't drive across that bay.
(We don't plan to rent a car when we are there. We would undoubtedly drive down the wrong side of the highway--I won't mention that the right side would be the wrong side.)
800 miles! i was wondering where you were going? orkney?! now i see... isn't it called a dog's leg? an open jaw? or summut like, aye...
