I'm back
I've been banned from putting the bathtime photo on my blog so I'll have to make do with this one of GrandDaughter, aged 8 weeks.
When I got to Devon on Monday, Daughter's work hadn't arrived so we went for a walk by the canal and I got to push the pushchair! You cannot believe how long I have waited for that. But while we were walking by the canal we were harassed by a mean-looking swan. For no reason that I could see except that it was a nasty swan.

She is beautiful :-)
Swans can be a bit like that, I always give them a wide berth.
Luckily for your Grand-daughter she's not called Malteser or you would have gobbled her up by now.
Isn't it the start of the mating season for swans, where at this time of year they are starting to claim their territory. They are very beautiful, but totally unpredictable and I tend to give them a wide berth.
Bet your already missing babba and I bet you have no maltesers left for comfort.
Much love
Lia

Swans are generally quiet nasty I believe. The ones we tried to feed with some cake of Mrs F's that had some how gone wrong and was somewhat more dense than expected at Arundel once clearly got nasty... my son thought it was because the cake was sinking like a stone and they couldn't get to it in time :-)
Grand daughter is lovely...
Oh Liz she is absolutely gorgeous. The face of an Angel♥ xoxo
