As good as new

Or at least as good as it was when it went into the attic 22 years ago. Not even a squeaky wheel! I will look like the nanny of a posh person's baby when I am pushing Baby along the prom in this.
And when Daughter and Elder Son were born we lived up a very long and steep hill. I must have been fit to push this up that hill with a baby inside and a toddler on the pram seat on top.
Postscript
I am wondering if I could do that thing people do when they want to sneak out at night, and wrap up a cushion in a blanket and take 'baby' for a walk in the pram. Not that I'm desperate or anything ...

I'm sure that'll do nicely. And it even has a tray for those squeaky bras you're taking back to the shop.

Very posh indeed :-)

You realise its entirely made of lead? Everything for children was entirely made of lead in the seventies....

I can remember those prams. They don't have then nowadays, it's all lightweight strollers.

As for it being made entirely of lead, I don't think it's that heavy and also by the 70s they realised what lead could do and lead based paints were illegal in children's toys, etc.

Please put a photo on of you pushing your Grandie in this...it will be most entertaining.

Oooh! I had one similar to that - and when I was very young, I had a coach-built doll's pram, made my Royale. Maroon, with cream upholstery. A thing of beauty!!

Now. What do you want to sneak out for? Enquiring minds ... LOL!

Indeed, nick, and all sorts of other essentials.

La di da, cherrypie!

No, that's your head you're thinking of Mutley.

Oh I will, puss.

Jay, I didn't explain that very well. I don't want to sneak out; I mean I want to take a pretend baby out for a walk, just for fun!

Oh, I, too, was afraid you were wanting to sneak out for some nefarious purpose and couldn't fathom why you didn't jsut go for a walk with George.
