I like 'new and old' - I hope you caught up on your blogging visits. As you can see you're not the only one who is fighting to catch up (as you claimed in your comment on my blog...even though you were further than me :) I also enjoyed reading about George's fence-experience and your garden woes. The flowers in the photos do look good!

Is that the Glynn Vivian? I seem to recognise the new section and the contrast with the old.
No, it's the Evening Post offices and the old building next door.
New and old. Side by side. But which one wins?
I like the contrast in the buildings so much. Great shot.
Great contrast Liz!
Have a nice week :)
Old arcitecture meets new, and both of them is great in monochrome way.
Allways nice to watch.
Oh, I like this shot.
Interesting juxtaposition of old and new, Liz. Nice.
New/old - black/white! It is all about contrasts, isnt it?

The architectural contrast is amazing...
I love the older building...
Wonderful capture!
At the opposite ends of the century unified in an amazing black and white! Very well done! I love it!
I like this as a vertical shot emphasizing the tall lines.
i prefer the old section... more character to the building
Post Office, eh?
The old building is by far the best here in my opinion. Nice in mono!
