Saturday Photohunt - Entertainment

Street musicians entertain the crowds on their way to the Millennium Stadium to watch Wales take on Australia at rugby. They are a Max Boyce tribute band called Boycezone. (Max Boyce is a famous [in Wales!] entertainer renowned for his love of Welsh rugby. It was he who originated the phrase, 'Oggi oggi oggi, oi oi oi!' with which I'm sure you'll be familiar!)

Every city should have them. I love to stop and listen to them, and photograph them of course.

Great take.

Good photo Liz. They are very worthy Wales supporters.

Happy weekend to you. Yes I have written about Josh before, shhh! But I did see him yesterday, singing his little heart out.

Believe it or not, even in Hong Kong -- home to a Rugby Sevens tournament -- I have heard (of) "Oggi, oggi, oggi, oi, oi, oi!" :D

From an Aussie to a Welshie...may the best team win!

Hah! We say Aussie, Aussie, Aussie, oi, oi, oi! Wonder who said it first...(idle question only).

Besides all that, the entertainers look...very entertaining.

Lovely cheerful picture for a gloomy day. Max Boyce was all the rage when we first moved to Wales and we really enjoyed his songs and jokes. Would love to hear this tribute group.

What a great shot and perfect for the theme. By the time I catch up on photohunters it will be time for the next one. I also love your monochrome shot. I didn't do that this week due to computer issues after my long weekend away.
