We had a lovely weekend in London with Elder Son and Daughter-in-law. Friday evening we went for sushi. I must confess that I've never tried sushi before and was a little wary but it was really nice.Saturday we went Spanish and had tapas in 'the best Spanish restaurant in south-west London' and that was delicious.
Then on Saturday we went to Kew Gardens. Here are ES and D-i-l approaching what is - if I remember correctly - the oldest surviving Victorian glass pavilion in the world. At the time of building it was the largest in the world.

I have always wanted to try sushi. That looks delicious (as does Kew!)
I'm allergic to fish and can't eat spicy or salty food, so I'd have starved that day!
Kew looks lovely though, as ever. I love the orchid. It is an orchid, isn't it?
Lovely shots - we have 3 or 4 Japanese restaurants right here in my little village. Sushi is very popular here.
oohh i would love to go to Kew gardens.... maybe when Geoff comes home :-)
