Monochrome Maniacs

The treetop walkway at Kew Gardens. And, yes, I did walk along it, even though there were 182 steps up and the wind was blowing so the walkway was swaying gently back and for.

Did you take any shots down through the walkway? Could make a neat image.

It rained for three days. We were staying in Tywyn and I drove clean across to the border looking for something better. A flooding Dovey almost trapped us the wrong side on the way back to our B&B. Great fun.

They didn't have that when I lived in London. It looks more exciting than some of the other treetop walkways I've tried. Except that it seems to be completely enclosed - is that the case?

Wow, that's amazing. Looks like quite a walk and such an interesting shot.

A walkway swaying in the wind? Like the one that broke on Indiana Jones? You, my dear, are courageous!

Great shot.

I don't think i would have gone up there, i am not too keen on heights.

I bet the view was lovely though.

I only just managed to look over the edge, aileni; I certainly wasn't up to looking down!

No, it's not enclosed, nick; the top is open.

Thanks, carver.

I think so, nick!

It wsa impressive, suburbia.

Actually all you could see was the tops of trees, samantha!

Oh, yes, rose, I should have a badge saying, 'I was very brave today!'

I didn't know it would sway until it was too late, berni!

The list of 'places to visit' must be huge by now, leslie!
