ABC Wednesday - J

Sorry, I'm on holiday this week so I won't be able to visit but I'm trusting Blogger to get this post up at the right time! Here's my Beatles song for the letter J.
Junk
Motor Cars, Handle Bars
Bicycles for Two
Broken Hearted Jubilee
Parachutes, Army Boots
Sleeping Bags for Two
Sentimental Jamboree
Buy Buy
Says the Sign in the Shop Window
Why Why
Says the Junk the Yard
Candlesticks, Building Bricks
Something Old and New
Memories for You and Me
Buy Buy
Says the Sign in the Shop Window
Why Why
Says the Junk in the Yard
(The Beatles Anthology 3)
I consider myself a true Beatles fan but I've never heard of this song. However, for J, it was a choice between this and Julia (?)

Hmmm, that's a 'new' one. Never heard that either.

It's rather deep isn't it? The mess of a relationship. Very sad ring to it. Wonder what the melody's like? Anywhere online we can listen to it?

I don't know this song either. How nice to discover a new Beatles song after all this time!

I was just thinking I'd never heard of this song, but I see I'm not the only one. They must have seen my basement or my husband's corner of the garage when they wrote this:)

I have that song on one of my CD's that loop on my car stereo. It is from his early years after the Beatle's breakup called MCCARTNEY (1970). One of my favorites! They all are! LOL!

I found it on YouTube. It has such a lovely haunting melody. Here's the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fLWm-m6CuCY
