The ultimate sacrifice

George Bush decided, as a mark of solidarity with the troops, he would give up playing golf. He said, "I don't want some mom whose son may have recently died to see the commander in chief playing golf. I feel I owe it to the families to be in solidarity. And I think playing golf during a war just sends the wrong signal."

Really he was just fed up of getting beaten.

I saw a photo in the paper today of Bush riding a bike, a gift from Israel's Prime Minister. He looked like a real dolt riding it in a dark business suit and tie! ick!

Don't worry about Mr Bush, he'll be gone soon... but unfortunately there's still plenty of time for him to do more damage.

I wish he would just stop talking all together. Since he leaves everyone totally speechless....it's only fair that he should be.

There is video proof that he was playing three months later. Either that or he was beating moles to death.
He's only doing what he does best - lie.

LOL, Liz. And the comments are equally witty. I don't have any clever to say, just that I am sure such a magnanimous gesture on his part must be so comforting to the mothers who have lost sons in the war. (Hope you can read the dripping sarcasm here.)

And a great photo of your bleeding heart (wait a minute--is there a connection between these two posts??). I have been envying the photos of these on gardening blogs, because mine didn't come up this spring.

Liz, everyone should take a look at Josie's last two posts about Obama vs Hillary vs McCain. Some very interesting comments and all seem to be very passionate about their feelings.

Everything Bush says is either a lie or is just a gut rumbling due to his IQ of 72. He is so pathetic, and we are so ashamed. Apparently Congress will not do anything about impeachment, because his replacement, Cheney, would bring his own dark calculated brand of evil to the mix. Just a few months longer...
