Spot the fib

Ages ago Suburbia tagged me with a meme. I am doing it now instead of the ironing. I will tell husband that is why he has no ironed shirts. Because of Suburbia.

Q. What were you doing 10 years ago?
A. I’m 55. I can’t remember what I did 10 minutes ago let alone 10 years..

Q. Name 5 snacks you enjoy.
A. Chocolate, grapes, bananas, chocolate, frosties.

Q. Things I would do if I were a billionaire
A. Husband could retire and spend all his time working in the garden. I’d have a new paint job on Betty. Buying houses for children goes without saying.

Q. Five jobs that I have had
A. Waitress, computer programmer, pole dancer, administrator, shop assistant.

Q. Three bad habits
A. Biting my nails, procrastinating, laziness.

Q. Five places I have lived
A. Mumbles, Morriston, Shirley, Sketty. That’s all, sorry, and that’s only because I’ve used little place names instead of Swansea and Southampton!

Q. Five people I want to know more about:
A. I think most people have already done this meme but if you haven’t and you feel so inclined, then please do.

Methinks (& hopes) not all the jobs are strictly truthful...

Because of Suburbia?!!

Frosties...hmmm interesting snack. Do you stuff your hand into the packet and pull out a few stray ones or actually use a bowl? I do the formed when I feel so inclined!

Pole Dancer...is that just a weekend only job or full time?!!!

I can't do this meme because I haven't lived in five different places, only four!

I've only lived on one town all my life... honestly. Oh I could do the fib there... DOH!

Computer Programmer - no chance. Pole Dancer, obviously as the boys from the Stag and Kettle in Whitechapel still talk about how you could spin upside down for nearly your entire show.... :-)

Was the pole dancing in the last 10 years?

I don't believe that you have ever been an administrator.

I finally found the Little Mrs Men O'Paws post, after a lot of stumbling around, on your blog. I think it's absolutely brilliant, but slightly scary!! I am suffering with the over-emotional stuff, at the moment. Embarrassing or what?

Your post about your husband being missing, for your anniversary, also caught my eye. My husband took a cycling holiday, with my sons, every year, for several years running. He knew that I would never go, because I couldn't cope with several days of cycling 30 miles or so a day. One year he was away, with my youngest son, for my birthday. He didn't leave me a card, but sent me a plain one (didn't say 'wife') through the post. He still doesn't understand why I was upset!

You're right, book owl.

Yip, suburbia, great handfuls straight from the packet, and straight down my cleavage for later. Ex-pole-dancer I'm afraid.

Welshcakes, it would be funny if it wasn't true!

leslie, I'm sure you could find an audience!

jmb, I've only lived in 4 and I did it.

Furtheron, say hello to the boys in the Stag and Kettle from me. Oh, we had some good times together.

deejay, obviously you've not seen my most recent photos or you wouldn't need to ask.

You get the prize, mean mom! Men are a bit thick - sorry, I mean low on the EQ scale.

Pole dancer huh? Though I think you may have the talent, I can't imagine you wrapping yourself around this one Liz.

pole dancing? is that like a Mazurka?

You lived in Southampton? I was a student there.. I ended up living where most students do after halls of residence (Montefiore in Swaythling)... Just off Derby Road.. I gather that the area hs been cleaned up a hell of a lot since I was last there....
