When I was a teen, we had neighbors who owned a huge St. Bernard named Grizelda. She never mentally outgrew being a pup, either, tho she was big as a Shetland pony! She was the most lovable mutt and if she spotted you she'd run at you full-speed-ahead, jump up and place her paws on your shoulders, and lick you half to death! I never DARED sit down with her around...I'm sure she still thought she was a lap dog, too!

He's one big fellow now but I'll bet he'll stay a pup at heart forever

Our boxer liked being a lap dog, too, right up until her death. She weighed 53 lbs. But I never minded as she was so gentle and loving.

If that is you under George, Liz, I hope you're ok! Our Roco used to plop down on the couch beside me and lay his head on my lap. I couldn't move without coaxing him to get up.

So cute! He has indeed grown!

Diva still likes to sit on Mommy's lap in the car sometimes. It isn't comfortable. But she thinks it is.
