George is naughty

Last night we went to the theatre to see a production of The Graduate. We were a bit late getting there (because of traffic and not my genetic late programming no matter what anyone says) and had to run but I couldn't. I said, 'I can only run with my right foot.'

I put that down to my peculiarity and didn't think to check but this morning I discovered that George had eaten part of my left sandal strap. My best sandals. Okay, my only comfy sandals that I've had three years and wear all summer, but that's not the point.

Excuse me a minute. 'What?'
George says he thinks he should have his own blog so he can tell his side of the story but I tell him, 'There isn't a "your side of the story"; you're just naughty.'
'I'm a puppy! What do you expect? If you leave your sandals where I can get them, I'll chew on them. But really you should be aware that I'm only doing it because they smell of you and I love you.'
'It's no good looking at me all soppy-eyed and gorgeous! It won't work. No, really, stop it!'

Hmmm, I think maybe George has a point Liz. Maybe he should have his own blog so he can share his own views of things. Sounds like he has a lot to say. Naughty pup.

Dear George, you've gotta love him!
I've told you once that George reminded me of our late dear Roco, but now he's beginning to sound like a bigger version of our Coco, the Pomeranian. He's actually my daughter's dog, and for the first year and a half he about bankrupted her by chewing not only her shoes, but her sister's expensive shoes as well. Fortunately, he's grown up and now he just chews up her underwear.

So you have a sandal eating dog! Strange how they can digest anything.
You have a very clever pet indeed if he is capable of writing his own blog!
We had a Yorkshire terrier once who ate a five pound note that we accidentally left on the arm of a chair overnight. The only thing left was a corner of it & it had the number on & I was surprised that the bank refunded the money!
She also chewed a library book which I had to pay for!

Had you thought of giving him a good smack?

Yes, we need to hear George's side of it too.

I used to get really mad when Robbie chewed on shoes! He almost ruined my Italian loafers, but I managed to salvage them and have them repaired. Thank goodness! But he did ruin another couple of pairs....I hope God gives him lots of leather up there in doggy heaven - he'll be so happy! :D
