ABC Wednesday - R

Two images of Wales for ABC Wednesday this week.
Rhossilli Bay on Gower.Rugby is the national game of Wales and here is the Welsh rugby team for the game against Italy earlier this year. They're part of the triumphant Grand Slam squad. (That means Wales beat England, Ireland, Scotland, France and Italy in the 2008 Six Nations Championship.)
To take part in ABC Wednesday, visit Mrs Nesbitts Place.

Well I may have got the action in my Rugby pic, but you certainly got the better playing team. Well done.

I never tire of Rhosili shots but this is one Welshman who never loved rugby. As the PI at Sw Training College once said to me, 'Oh, individual sports - uh'. Very snooty.
Yes, I loath team games.
I was looking through pics for an 'R' - never got as far as Rhosili. Nice choice.

I would love to go to the Gower Penninsula. Will they be watching the football match tonight in Wales? We support rugby in my house too.

I have of course heard about it, but Rugby as a game is virtually unknown around here. Very fitting, though.

Gorgeous view of the bay and how did I know you'd do rugby today? lol

I don't understand rugby.

But then I don't understand (American) football, soccer (known to most of the world as football) lacrosse, cricket, or any one of a number of things. I think I understand hocky, but I am not sure.

I DO understand baseball, and can actually play it a bit.
