Saturday Photohunt - Drink

A belated entry for Photohunt this week as the weekend didn't quite go the way we anticipated.

However, what else could a Welsh rugby fan model on the day we play 'the old enemy, England, at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff?

The Welsh rugby shirt and the self-styled National Ale of Wales, Double Dragon, produced by Felinfoel Brewery.

And me a tee-totaller too. The things I'll do for my blog.

We went to Outback just so I could get photos of my English husband's 22 oz Fosters, but I couldn't upload the photos, so just went a different way for the hunt. I think the pubs are what he misses and he wasn't even old enough to be in them when he left.

Ah, that so reminds me of home!

At school we used to refer to that ale by the name English incomers used to give it of 'Feeling Foul', as that was a fair description of how you would feel after a night out on 8 pints of the stuff...

I was driving past the old brewery today, spookily enough, having been to visit my folks over the weekend.

Good to see that they haven't been taken over, although I have no idea what happened to Buckley's, their main competitor down there.

Far preferable to Brain's [but then I'm biased] although I did adjust to drinking a pint of 'Dark' when I was at college.
