Heaven is a washing-machine

Even as I write my new washing-machine is busy washing away.

After much research Husband decided the German makes were best for reliability (shame the same can't be said for their cars!) so we invested in a bottom of the range Miele and here it is. Pretty as a picture.

It looks as though it has lots of buttons but it's very simple to use and I only use the basic settings so I am a very happy and soon-to-be-clean bunnykins.

Unlike Harvey who was not happy when the washing-machine was brought into the kitchen by Husband with scant regard for dog's personal space.

Harvey has mastered the art of 'Don't you feel sorry for me, having such a dog's life?'
In case you're not convinced!

Hi, Liz. The washing machine looks very fine indeed. But Harvey - oh, Harvey! - looks just beautiful! Hugs to him from Simi and me.

Oh, a brand new appliance. I always loved getting a brand new this or that. It looks great, but Harvey looks quite disenchanted. Wash away Liz....

The Miele factory is just 20 miles down (actually north) the road from here. I was talking to their Quality Manager the other day. Apparantly Mean-time-between-replacements is about 18 years ;-)

So you may have to buy another ;-)

Our vacuum cleaner's a Miele, Liz. Very pleased with it.

Don't know about German products, they seem to be buying lots from China now days. Cheaper. Good luck to you and Harvey.

That's a very nice looking washing machine. And Harvey looks just precious. If he looked at me like that, I'd give him whatever he wanted -- so yes, tell him it's working.:)
